Chenier is a native of
Queens, NY, whom is now living in Raleigh, NC. He began
singing at the early age of 5 and has been singing ever
since. Like most artists, he began singing in the church. As
a young man, Chenier has performed in churches and has sung
in numerous choirs, which motivated him to pursue a career
in the music industry as a singer, songwriter and performer.
While in high school, Chenier studied voice at the Brooklyn
Academy of Music, which he received a partial scholarship to
attend St. Augustine's College in Raleigh, NC. While
attending St. Augustine College, Chenier began developing
his song writing ability, as well as honing his vocal skills
and obtained his Bachelors of Science in Computer
Information Systems. He has been told that his sound is
compared to the like of Brian McKnight, but he knows his
sound is very unique and will captivate anyone’s ear when he
starts to sing.
